The American Enterprise Institute seeks an outgoing, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented individual to build relationships with donors and prospects and generate major gifts for AEI.

Responsibilities include: developing cultivation and solicitation strategies—annual and endowment—for (primarily) individual donors and prospects; establishing a portfolio of donors and prospects to be cultivated personally and by AEI’s senior management; and engaging in significant travel to meet with donors and prospects.
This position reports directly to the vice president of development and works closely with the managing director of development (individuals), as well as the corporate and foundation teams, to identify targets for cultivation visits. Job Description:

The MPC is seeking a Research and Policy Associate to develop new advocacy efforts for malaria research and development as well as other tools needed to fight malaria. This position will work closely with the Director of Global Advocacy to coordinate and complement our existing efforts to highlight success in malaria control and incorporate maintaining support for the holistic package of tools needed – vaccines, drugs, diagnostics and vector control – into our overall advocacy strategy.

7) The American Road & Transportation Builders Association is looking for an intern to support our communications and member relations teams.

Duties will include drafting correspondence, organizing and facilitating mailings, participating in committee conference calls, updating website content, press release and member relations communications items, managing project files and creating/managing databases, and preparing written correspondence and minutes. Job Summary: The Meetings Assistant is responsible for assisting in managing administration and organizing logistics for one annual meeting and multiple various sized regional meetings per year. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will be responsible for assisting with general office duties (answering phones, passing out mail, distributing faxes), and assisting legislative staff with research and writing. Performing constituent services (scheduling tours, processing flag requests, and legislative correspondence) will also be an integral part of each internship. Interns will be encouraged to attend hearings, briefings, and other Congressional proceedings. Additional duties are available and will be assigned according to an intern’s interest and ability. Must be highly motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and will have the ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline.
